SLOW COOKER PULLED PORK
Collin loves Pork… maybe more than he loves me. Since he is going through the elimination diet with me (by choice), why not treat him one of his favorites. We both enjoyed this dish, however it was very fatty and savory. That said, it was more of a treat than a staple for us healthy eaters. (Recipe by Beyond the Bite)
Ingredients
- 2.5 lb pork butt
- 3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp raw honey
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
Process
- Place bork butt in a slow cooker.
- Rub down with garlic, salt, cinnamon, turmeric, and honey.
- Pour in balsamic vinegar, cover, and allow to cook on low for 8-10 hours.
- Once tender, use two forks to shred the pork, then serve as desired.
